Novipro® N40C
Novipro® N 40 C
Release Nitrogen source
The availability of some nutrients is a known challenge in ruminant nutrition.
Many nutrients are already degraded before reaching the small intestine. To meet the cow nutrients requirements and to maximize its production potential, some nutrients deficiencies should be corrected. One of the most efficient ways of correcting these deficiencies is through the addition of small amounts of these nutrients in a target/slow release form.
Innovad ® special coating technique is based on advanced technology involving synchronized spray cooling of a composite matrix of primarily selected long-chain fatty acids. This technique assures to control the release dynamics of the nutrients within the rumen or later on in the digestive tract. The coating protects nutrients from oxidation, pH, light, and makes the product free-flowing and non-hygroscopic.
Rumination has been well recognized as an essential fermentation that is capable of preparing end-products, particularly volatile fatty acids and microbial proteins as major energy and protein sources for the ruminant host. Hence the more efficient this fermentation process takes place, the more balanced the fermentation end-products are being synthesized. An optimal ratio between rumen degradation and rumen by-pass ingredients is key to obtain efficient production and to prevent metabolic disorders.
A large portion of the protein in dairy diets comes from microbial protein produced by microbes in the rumen. Microbial protein can supply more than 55% of the required protein for a cow. The microbes need sources of Nitrogen and Carbohydrates (energy) available at the same time to produce protein. A few hours after a meal there is a rise in rumen ammonia level, followed by a decrease of rumen ammonia level.
Novipro® N 40 C
With high protein prices feed urea is a good source of nitrogen for rumen microbial protein synthesis. To improve the utilization of nitrogen from feed urea, the conversion of urea to ammonia needs to be slowed down.
Novipro® is a partially coated form of urea produced with the encapsulation technology to create a slow-release Nitrogen source. Novipro® gives a continuous supply of nitrogen to the rumen.
