GLOBALFEED is a Grupo TERVALIS company. It has a significant presence in the Spanish and International markets and has undergone rapid growth over the past few years, both in terms of turnover (470 million Euros) and human resources (1260 employees). It is also pursuing an ever wider portfolio of activities across other sectors, such as animal nutrition. Having spent 15 years working in the animal nutrition sector, Group TERVALIS felt it was necessary to move forward based on market regulations and needs. |
Thus, GLOBALFEED was created to provide experience, technology and innovation to the livestock sector - a natural evolution under the auspices of the business group. Present on four of the five continents thanks to a sales network across over forty countries, GLOBALFEED is consolidating the supply of Dicalcium Phosphate and Monocalcium Phosphate both nationally and Europe-wide from its two production and research centres in Utrillas (Teruel) and Huelva. This latter is regarded as one of the most modern plants in Europe, with a production capacity of 100,000 tons of phosphates per year and 30,000 tons of Ferrous Sulphate, for both animal and vegetable nutrition. |
Technology:
GLOBALFEED Monocalcium Phosphate and Dicalcium Phosphate are the first in Spain to be directly sourced using our GlobalPhos® technology. This production technology is based on a direct reaction of phosphoric acid with a calcium source, raw materials that are both suitable for animal nutrition. |
Food quality and safety From an environmental perspective, the Monocalcium Phosphate and Dicalcium Phosphate production process is fully environmentally friendly and generates no chemical waste. GLOBALFEED achieves the CAAE ORGANIC CERTIFICATION of its products. GLOBALFEED is registered in the General Registry of Establishments in the Animal Feed Sector (α ESP 21 000015), per Directive 95/69/CE, both as a producer and as a trader. It also has the GMP+ certificate of good manufacturing practices (GMP009988), which guarantees the integrity of the production process and its compliance with safety regulations in all the links in the food chain – thus increasing client confidence. |
